Hi, I’m Ashka!
Welcome to my blog! I am currently a second-year M.Sc. student in Geology with a Specialization in Planetary Science and Exploration at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada. Before joining Western as an international student, I received my M.Sc. degree in General Geology from Gujarat University, India. During the last year of my graduate program back home, I had an opportunity to work on a thesis involving the Geological Mapping of complex lunar impact craters, and since then, I’ve developed a passion for planetary sciences. This blog serves as an archive of my graduation journey at Western University!
In addition to research, I’m passionate about drawing, reading, and gardening. Along with my research progress, I’ll also be posting miscellaneous updates involving these hobbies, if/when possible. So stay tuned if you wish to know more about my research, to see me cooing about my plant babies or flaunting my drawings that I’m mostly proud of!
